About Water Filtration Dallas

We put filters in homes across Dallas, and we start every job with a test. We are NSF certified. We show you what each filter is made of, what it removes, what it costs to keep up and where it falls short. You decide with the facts in front of you.

How We Got to Working This Way

Most people who call us already know something about their water bothers them. Maybe it tastes like a swimming pool. Maybe there is a rust ring in the tub, or they live in an older house and worry about the pipes. What they don't know is which filter fixes it, and the sales pitch they got last time didn't help.

So we keep it simple. We test the water at your tap. We tell you what we found. Then we lay out the options by material. Granular carbon versus carbon block. A sediment cartridge made of spun polypropylene versus a pleated one you can rinse. A thin-film reverse osmosis membrane versus a basic carbon pitcher. Each one has a job it does well and a job it doesn't.

That last part matters. A water softener is a fine machine, but if your test shows soft or barely hard water, it is money spent on salt and resin you don't need. We would rather tell you that up front than sell you a tank that sits in the garage doing very little.

How We Treat Every Job

Testing comes before advice

Each time, we test your water before anything else. Our testing looks at the common concerns, such as chlorine taste, hardness, iron and sediment. You see the actual numbers, not only what we think.

Plain talk about materials

Activated carbon picks up chlorine and odors. Catalytic carbon does better with harder-to-remove disinfectants, at a higher price. Reverse osmosis membranes remove much more, but they send some water to the drain and need a tank under the sink. We go over trade-offs like these before you decide.

Straight answers on upkeep

Parts in every filter wear out. We explain how often the cartridges, membranes or media need replacing and what affects that cost, so nothing catches you off guard next year. Our filter replacement and maintenance visits can keep it on track if you like.

Tidy, careful installs

Since we are working in your home, we put down drop cloths, keep the water off no longer than necessary and look over each fitting for drips before leaving. We also show you where the bypass valve sits and how to tell when a filter needs changing.

Where We Work

We install and service filters across Dallas and the towns around it, including University Park, Highland Park, Cockrell Hill, Irving, Garland, Mesquite, Richardson, Lancaster, Duncanville and Farmers Branch. Older homes with original plumbing often get an under-sink reverse osmosis unit at the kitchen tap, while newer builds with a clear spot near the main line are a good fit for whole-house carbon filtration. Our Service Areas page lists more of the places we cover.
